Well the silly season has started and it actually doesn't seem too busy here at the moment. To top it off there's been a small wave and the weathers quite pleasant. In fact, ( touch wood ) the weather forecast is for a little run of nice weather. Could this be the BBQ summer holidays we've been missing out on for the last 3 years! let's hope so. One thing that's probably for sure is that if you're here in Polzeath then you'll need something with a little more volume and length than you're average performance board to get the best out of the waves. We've still got a few Wingnut surfboards, Peanuts and Fishes which are great summer surfboards. And of course plenty of longboards, which are ideal for getting the most of those small summer days. If you're in the area then pop down and take a look - we also have demo and hire boards for you to take out.

Boardmasters is in it's 30th year this year and to celebrate, the competition has been increased to being a 6 Star Event. Add the fact the WCT has been shrunk and we're likely to get a line-up of pro surfers as good as we've seen for many years here in Cornwall. Here's just a short list of who is going to be there - Cory Lopez, Tom Whitaker, Roy Powers, Kai Otton, Ben Dunn, Luke Steadman plus many more.
